Shoot it & Eat it!

It was delicious mayhem at Sweet Revenge®  last Saturday during John Bentham‘s Shoot it & Eat it food photography class! A smattering of colors and mouth-watering aromas surrounded us with a dizzying effect. John and his 5 students took stunning pictures of sunset pink lox with easter green dill, powdered sugar dusted baked french toast snuggled in our rustic brown parchment paper, ham & brie stacked sandwiches with honey mustard trickling down the layers, tuscan quiche with chunks of roasted red peppers and crispy ham jutting through the eggy surface, a Crimson & Cream double layer cake with raspberry coulis decadently drizzled down the side, cupcakes and booze pairings, cookies plated with Guinness, golden brown biscuits with jam & butter, sundried tomato-bacon-broccoli frittata, chocolate dipped strawberries with crumbled pistachios and toasted coconut bits….ahhh the decadence. I am so proud!

The photos will soon be uploaded to the website.  If only I were a tech wizard, I would’ve figured out how to re-size them so they’ll upload.  I wish that kinda stuff was easybreezy for me. Patience…it’s such a flippin virtue :).  It has been about 2 1/2 years since I updated my site with new pictures, so this really is a big thrill for me.  Here’s a teaser photo of what’s to come!

I appreciate John’s generosity in having his class at my cupcake, beer & wine bar.  He’s a mega talented professional who photographs celebrities and has an impressive corporate client roster.  I’m very blessed that he, his lovely wife Tracy and cutiepatootie son Luke are my regulars and friends.
